Bunting Bird Sustainable Dress made from Bamboo Jersey and Fabric Remnants Hand Embroidered and Painted - Handmade by Shanna Britta

This is a truly unique sustainable dress! Using several methods of handwork I have embellished this dress using hand embroidery, fabric paint and hand cutting fabric remnants to create two bunting birds in a dogwood tree. On the front of the dress around the neckline I created a female bunting bird sitting on a dogwood branch with white blossoms. On the back I have a male blue bunting bird flying upward creating the image of open wings on your back. Also, on the back I made dogwood white blossoms blowing around so it gives the look of the bird flying through the wind. The fabric of the dress is AMAZING! It's natural bamboo fibers in a very high quality silky jersey knit. The color is a rich purple magenta. The dress is fitted at the bust and has a front scoop neckline with a racerback. At the hips the dress starts to flow away from your body and has a very full flowy hemline. The front hemline of the dress stops at your knee and the back hemline of the dress is longer and stops around your calf. Also, as a bonus there are inseam pockets! This dress is made from the highest quality of materials and construction.
